Supermarket
Good morning!! Yesterday, I went to a huge supermarket near the hotel. It was too big to look at all the things. I was looking at sweets area for a long time!! I like caramel in chocolates or cookies so I bought them a lot :) I was happy when I was surrounded by many candies and chocolates!! After I finished shopping, I went to Hard time café and ate chicken wings for dinner. I spent good time with mentors and my friends. At night, everyone got together in one room, and we had a party!! It was really fun!! I want to do that again :)

I enjoyed reading about what you've bought at the supermarket you visited yesterday, and I imagined what it must have felt like to be surrounded by many sweets though I've just had some sweets at home! It does sound good, don't you think? Hahaha...
The candy aisle at SFW must have been crowded with AGU students yesterday--I wish I had a picture of it!
You were so cute when you were trying to decide which chocolates to buy! Hopefully you like everything you bought :D

I enjoyed your blog posts about shopping at the Pentagon City Mall and at the big supermarket near your hotel. I'm also glad you and your classmates had a party. I hope you have many more enjoyable experiences during your stay in Maryland.
Like Nina-sensei, I was surprised to learn that you lived in Indonesia. Do you speak Bahasa Indonesia?
I was also impressed that you and your friend spoke in English while you were at the mall. Congratulations! It isn't easy to do that, but as Berta-sensei pointed out, "Practice makes perfect." The more you speak English, the more comfortable you will feel when doing that—and the more confidence you will have in your ability to communicate in English. Keep up the good work!
I hope you are learning a lot during your stay in Maryland, and I also hope you will take many, many pleasant memories with you when you return home!
